Shirley Wells needs your advice. Shirley is a writer of crime and romantic fiction and her new book Where Petals Fall is due out on 26th March. To mark this, she's holding a competition. Tell her the best piece of advice you've ever been given and you could win a signed hardback copy of her book. Now Shirley likes snow so I suggest you all enter and advise her to avoid yellow snow. Or maybe even brown snow. That way, I've got a much better chance of winning.
Go here to find out everything you need to know about this rather splendid competiton.

Hee hee, thank you for the reminder, Lane. :-)
I'm feeling smug as I've already entered!
Will pop over in a mo :0)
Ha, ha, ha. I've already been advised to avoid the yellow snow. :o)
Thanks so much for the link!
How about avoiding yellow snowmen?
My mum always used to say 'never apologise, never explain' - but I suppose it's not very sensible advice.
Yes, I've already entered, too.
My advice was excellent *smile*.
Does Shirley want advice about snow or writing? Or life? Or all three?
Avoid the first and last I say.
Now, talking of writing, Calistro has written something about you and I'd like to mention it too. Can I?
Ooh yes I read that too Lane, congratulations - it's about time :o))
I've entered that competition, but fear my words of wisdom were rather dull :o(
Fiona - yes you certainly can:-)
